Defiance post 2

People should be free to do what they want...but  not in a bad way. however in the movie defiance truvia brother had said women dont need guns, because they protect them. i go by half of that i believe that anyone who believe they have the right to fight should even the women. it kind of seemed like in the beginning he thought that women would bring the group down. but now since the woman are fighting and learning how to shoot like the men i think its fair because they arent making it strict their making it for anyone who wants to fight and if you dont then you have to work

Defiance post

In the book the jews that were smuggling other jews, ended up seeking or trying to seek revenge on the nazi soldiers that killed someone that meant alot to them. i dont think that was a smart move because, the nazi's can figure out who did and they can probably figure out where they are at. and since they are helping other jews they could end up getting killed perhaps hanged, just like the guy who gave the other guy a gun with 8 rounds on it, he got hung by the nazi soliders because he was involved in helping the jews. wartime probably wont change much because it will only make things worst not some much better till the end of the war

Air Force Museum

When we went to the air force museum one of the stages of genocie i saw was dehuminization. there were two ways i will point out how i saw this step one was from the man speaking he said they were dehuminized when they were no longer allowed to own anything such as cars, stores, bikes nothing they owned nothing their were basically stripped down from what they once had. and another way was their names everyone is entiled to the name that they were given which is their birth name and the germans stripped them from their name nd gave them numbers when no one should be classified as a number they should be recognized by their name.

Comparing Past to Present

The photo that I chose was the picture of me in daycare and I was 3 years old. the picture of the little girl that I chose is 3 years old and is going to daycare. in the picture the little girl doesnt look very happy she doesnt have a smile on her face, but in my picture i look like im glad to be there far as the liitle girl underneath. our lives were similar because even though we were in different parts of the world she is still doing the same things that normal 3 years old do or at least some do that age which is. the only difference is i look happy to be there and where i was going and she look like she was afraid to leave her family.
what i learned from daily life is that everything over the generations change, back in the day in germany everything was formed and was created differently. from then to now, even though the pictures were different everything was still done differently and money was the top priority in germany from some people and here it wasnt about the money because not everything then was expensive.

Reflection on Armenian Genocide

Whenever i think of genocide o think of killing in general before i knew there were steps to genocide i just thought it was nothing but killing and my views have changed because its not just about killing its about all the steps before that leads up to extermination. it may have changed because it may have lessened from then to now.

iWitness Activity: November 14th, 2011

Sion Abajian was born on 1908 in Marash. She was an armenian woman, she lived stalling. they had no food or water to eat. her family lived in a tent that was black on one side and white on the other and whenever they saw the genedarms they woul turn the tent, and Sion said that whenever they saw them they would turn the tent to the other side which was technically stalling. she said they wer kept safe longer. While all of this is happening it seems as though she regrets a lot of things or she has a lot of wishful thinking going through her mind just as she looks in the picture. During this event I think she was constantly worrying about what will happen to her or her family and it seemed like in part that she was getting angry at the fact that they havent gotten killed yet if they were going to die anyways, it really seemed like she was getting frustrated with the whole situation.

Classification/symbolization

If theses are considered the 1st and 2nd stages of genocied when do you think they became a problem?

i think they became a problem because everything in a sense was taken out of proportion and people were taken advantage of and more and more things became effensive and people tried to become rebelious. and it all started i think when the goverenment started to classify people.

Why does genocide occur?

genocide occurs when there are people that are trying to be eliminated or when a group of people is trying to get rid f them.
